A simple 2 tube regenerative receiver. Plug in coils are used. The set pictured are from the 1920's. The plug in coils cover broadcast band through the 16 meter short wave bands.

The receiver uses one stage of audio amplification to headphones or a small speaker. The audio coupling transformer is a 3 to 1 and gives gain to the audio stage through a setp up process from the detector.

This radio performs pretty well but the regeneration controls are touchy.
